I enjoyed this comic immensely. The Story was great! We get to learn the origins of our heroes. We see how Woody who is a zany social media obsessed white man, becomes the brother of Quantum; a serious and reserved black man. It makes you feel for these characters and gives you good perspective on why they are affected by certain events later in the book. We also learn about their mentor or better yet, their superhero mother. It is a great new element that helps everything makes sense. Up until this issue, I did not understand the how or why the heroes did what they did. The story continues to be very amusing and we also learn about a new villain The Guidance Counselor!! It is as crazy as it sounds. This issue develops our heroes and their environment, but it also tells a cool contained story. This issue continues an overall story line, that I am excited to see evolve.

The artwork continues its style using colorful images with a lot of line use for shading and creases. It looks a little mad magazine as far as the artwork. It looks modern but has a rough edge to it. The bright colors used and good action help to round it off and make it look polished.

I give Quantum & Woody #3 9 capes out of 10. It is super fun and easy to follow. It makes me interested into the heroes even more than I was before. I care about the characters and the world because the writers have done a great job in introducing to both. My only fear is that the social media references will date this in the future. As of right now, it is a fun ride!
